The Valparaiso University Athletic Department has released the following statement:
“The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics has a policy in place regarding student-athletes who have been arrested, and the department is following the procedure as outlined in its Student-Athlete Code of Conduct. Last weekend, two Valparaiso University men’s basketball team members violated that policy.
Micah Bradford is suspended indefinitely from the men’s basketball program for his second violation of the Code of Conduct.
Mileek McMillan currently faces a two-game suspension for his first violation of the Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct also provides a period of time where the student-athlete has the opportunity to initiate an appeal process.”
