Popcorn Festival Broadcast for First Time in 25 Years

For the first time in 25 years, the Valparaiso Popcorn Festival will be broadcasted to the public. VUTV, in partnership with Valparaiso Events, will produce a live stream broadcast of the Popcorn Parade.

This long-standing community tradition has returned for its 39th year. With over 250 arts & crafts booths, 35 food booths, kids’ games, five-mile Popcorn Panic, two live music stages and the nation’s first Popcorn Parade, this family-friendly event will be one to remember.

The Popcorn Parade is on Saturday, September 9th from 10am to noon. Activities will occur both before and after the parade. For a full list of activities, you can go to valparaisoevents.com.

For those of you on campus, you can tune into Channel 15 to view the broadcast. If you live off campus and would like to watch the production, you can go to our live stream page.
